DEPOSIT:

A deposit of $300 per person is required to process application.

FULL PAYMENT:

Due upon confirmation of application and receipt of invoice. Full payment is due 8 weeks before departure.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION MUST BE MADE VIA EMAIL AND SENT TO:

  • Up to 90 days prior to your departure: you are entitled to a full refund of paid fees less a $200.00 per person processing fee.
  • From 89-61 days: you are entitled to a full refund less $500.00 per person processing fee + any other cancellation fees levied by suppliers.
  • From 60-31 days: $1000.00 per person will be assessed plus any other cancellation fees levied by our suppliers.
  • Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure: are non-refundable. There will be no refunds for unused services.

LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS:

Bookings received 21 days or less prior to departure will include a $50 last-minute booking fee. If requested services cannot be confirmed, deposit and booking fee will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 72 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply hereafter. (See below for accepted payment methods)

HEALTH INSURANCE:

Insurance is not included in the tour price. We strongly recommend that you purchase the offered travel insurance package LISTED ON THE WEBSITE. The insurance becomes effective when the payment is received by insurance company. We cannot accept responsibility for any losses or expenses, which you or any member of your party may incur as a result of failing to secure adequate coverage.

SECURITY:

I affirm that my participation in the Program is voluntary and that I am aware of the risks related with traveling overseas (including to Israel), including risks associated with my safety and security. I agree to abide by the security directives issued by SACHLAV during the course of the Program. I understand that should I travel outside the parameters and/or location of the Program, I do so at my own risk and thus release SACHLAV of any obligation or responsibility for my safety and security.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS:

SACHLAV is not responsible for any medical conditions that may occur during, prior or subsequent to the tour. Should the participant require attention for any pre-existing medical condition during the course of the Program, the participant understands that any corresponding expenses for financial obligations incurred will be the participant’s sole responsibility and not that of the SACHLAV.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

SACHLAV reserves the right to dismiss any participant should their behavior or medical condition conflict with the code of conduct required during the Program or interfere with the routine of the Program.

LAND ARRANGEMENTS:

Sightseeing is included as per itinerary provided. Package is based on double occupancy sharing a twin-bedded room with private facilities including all taxes and service charges. Double rooms must be booked for two (2) persons. Single rooms are available at an additional cost and as per itinerary. Triple and quad occupancy are not offered in most hotels in Israel. SACHLAV reserves the right to substitute hotels according to availability, with adjustment where necessary.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS:

Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. When available, triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on agreements with Sachlav and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used. If a day room is included in the itinerary, check-out will normally be 6:00 p.m.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:

On dates including, but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures. Occasionally, during holidays and certain periods, due to unforeseen circumstances the local Tour Operator and/or Hotel(s) may have to make last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival, in the sequence of the tour and/or hotels. We therefore reserve the right to adjust the sequence and/or substitute any hotels with others of similar category. In such cases there will be no cost adjustment.

GROUP ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT:

The responsibility of collecting payments and registering a minimum amount of participants as per the proposal is upon the group leader, signed below.

PAYMENT:

The preferred method of payment is by bank wire transfer in one lump sum for both deposits and final payments. However, Sachlav will accept payment by PayPal, credit card or electronic check with an additional processing fee.

PRICING:

Package price is based on a minimum amount of participants as per proposal. The price will be altered should the participant amount differ from the minimum stated in the proposal. Sachlav reserves the right to cancel the agreement should the minimum amount of participants not register by the registration deadline stated above.

THE ABOVE TERMS:

This document supersedes and replaces any previous terms or proposals that have been sent by Sachlav.
